Tacconelli’s Pizzeria Renovation
Rocco Design + Build built this pizzeria’s second home, which sits in what used to be a five and dime store in Maple Shade, NJ. We redesigned and gutted the space, which includes a private dining room. We worked directly with our clients, an independent family who began making pizza more than 70 year ago, to create a space that was casual and approachable, full of warm colors and modern furniture.
The Rose Tattoo Restaurant Redesign
The Rose Tattoo is a Philadelphia restaurant located in an iconic Victorian building originally built in 1850. Several years ago, heavy rains led to the partial collapse of the roof and extensive water damage on all three floors. The columns from the original bar were just about to be thrown away when our team was lucky enough to step in and salvage them.
Odessey Bookstore Design + Build Out
The Odyssey Bookstore is a warm and modern shop nestled seamlessly into the basement of a historic stone building - a space as magical as many of the stories that grace its shelves. In this major repositioning project, Rocco Design + Build was tasked with restoring the derelict and unused sub-level space into a bright and inviting retail destination while highlighting and celebrating the building's historic features. Custom cabinetry and architectural lighting was designed to complement existing details like stone walls, two fireplaces, and former servant's quarters, which now serves as a functioning kitchen.
