Our Story

Rocco Design + Build was founded by Jeff Rocco Marianni. Jeff’s father, Rocco, a designer and builder by trade, introduced Jeff to the profession. At 14, Jeff worked at a custom cabinet shop, later joining a commercial framing crew. At a historic restoration firm, he learned high-craft carpentry and developed a keen understanding of historical materials and architectural details.

Jeff went on to teach himself welding and progressed into furniture-making while dedicating himself to artistic projects. With these experiences and skills, Jeff founded Rocco Design + Build. Supported by a talented crew that has included master artisans, skilled carpenters, and dedicated project managers, the company has successfully delivered high-craft residential and commercial projects in the Finger Lakes, Philadelphia, and New Jersey regions for over 20 years.

Our Mission

At the heart of our mission is a collaborative working model that honors your place as the co-driver of a project. We advise you on design options, inform you about problems and their solutions, and walk you through budget considerations that build your awareness of construction costs.

As a company, we actively seek opportunities to elevate the craft and earnings of our team members and trade partners. We strive to provide a professional and creative environment that our people can be proud of. 

As we consider our company’s future, we hope to strengthen our participation in construction’s circular economy which aims to preserve the existing building stock and repurpose materials to keep them in circulation and away from landfills. Inspired by this regenerative model and our profound appreciation for the art of restoration, we hope to add more historical restoration works to our wide and varied portfolio of projects.
